Terms of service
These terms cover how you may use afeezadebayo.com and everything on it: the website, the free tools, the Skills-md library, the templates and downloads, the newsletter, and any connectors or apps I offer. By using any of them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. They are written to be read, in plain English.
Who I am
I am Afeez Adebayo, a marketing expertl based in Lagos, Nigeria. I run this website and everything on it. There is no company behind it. You can reach me at hello@afeezadebayo.com.
Using the site and its free resources
The articles, learning guides, templates, Skills-md files and other resources on this site are free to read and use for your own work. You may:
- use the templates, guides and skill files in your own projects, for yourself, your employer or your clients;
- adapt them to fit your needs;
- share a link to any page.
Please do not copy the content wholesale and republish it as your own, resell it, or present it as if you created it. Where a file carries its own licence, such as the open-source skill files, that licence governs it. The text, design and logos on this website are my copyright unless stated otherwise.
The resources are information, not advice
Everything here is shared to help you do your work, but it is general information, not professional advice for your specific situation. SEO, marketing and growth outcomes depend on many things outside my control. You are responsible for the decisions you make using anything you find here, and you take them at your own risk.
Downloads and the newsletter
Some resources ask for your name and email so I can send you the file and, if you agree, the newsletter. How I handle that is set out in the privacy policy. You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in its footer, at any time.
Acceptable use
Whatever you use on this site, please do not:
- use it to break the law or anyone else’s rights;
- probe, disrupt or try to gain unauthorised access to the site, a tool, or anyone else’s data;
- run automated bulk requests that put an unreasonable load on the site or a tool;
- try to get round usage limits, or misrepresent who you are.
Connected tools and services
Some tools on this site connect to your own accounts on other platforms, or run inside AI assistants. The terms in this section apply to those tools, in addition to everything above.
Keyword Planner MCP
Keyword Planner MCP (the “connector”) lets an AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as Claude or ChatGPT, run Google Ads Keyword Planner research for you, using a Google Ads account you choose. It returns keyword ideas, search volumes, cost-per-click ranges, trends and forecasts. It is a research aid. It does not create or change anything in your Google Ads account.
Your Google account and Google Ads access
- You connect by signing in with Google and approving access. You can withdraw that at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by disconnecting in your AI assistant.
- You must have the right to use the Google Ads account you connect. If it belongs to your employer or a client, make sure they are happy for you to use it this way.
- Google’s own terms apply to your use of Google Ads and Google’s data, including the Google Terms of Service and the Google Ads API Terms and Conditions. Where they conflict with these terms about Google’s data, Google’s terms win.
Keyword Planner MCP acceptable use
In addition to the general acceptable-use rules above, please do not:
- use the connector to break Google’s terms or policies;
- share your connection with other people;
- collect or resell the data it returns, or use it to build a competing keyword database or service;
- use the data in any way Google does not allow for Keyword Planner data.
Limits and fair use
Google caps how many requests all users of the connector can make in a day, and the connector adds its own per-user limits to keep things fair. Heavy use may be slowed or paused. I may change the limits at any time.
The numbers are Google’s estimates
Keyword Planner figures are estimates produced by Google, often rounded into ranges. They can be wrong, they change over time, and they can differ from your real results. They are information, not advice. Decisions about spending money or planning content are yours, and you take them at your own risk.
Free, as it is, and it may change
The connector is free. I provide it “as is” and “as available”. I do not promise that it will always work, always be available or always be free, and I may change, limit or stop it at any time, giving notice where I reasonably can.
Keyword Planner MCP data and ownership
The privacy policy explains how I handle your data. In short: I store an encrypted credential, your email address and the account you choose; I do not store the keywords you search or the results; and I do not use your Google data for advertising.
Google, Google Ads and Keyword Planner are trademarks of Google LLC. The connector is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google. Keyword data belongs to Google and is provided under Google’s terms. The code for the local version of the connector is open source under the MIT licence on GitHub.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using any tool at any time; for connected tools, disconnect and revoke access. I may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if a platform such as Google requires it, or to protect the service or other users. The privacy policy explains what is deleted when your access ends.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, because everything here is free and is provided as is, I am not responsible for losses that come from using it or from being unable to use it, including lost profit, lost data, or decisions made using anything the site or a tool returns. My total liability to you for everything connected with this site and its tools will not exceed the amount you paid me, which is nothing.
Changes to these terms
If I change these terms, I will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, I will say so where it is relevant before it takes effect. Carrying on using the site or a tool after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction. This does not take away any mandatory rights you have as a consumer in the country where you live.
