Analytics tracking and dashboards expert
I design the tracking and dashboards that give every team the same numbers. At Topship I rebuilt tracking across web and app, so sign-ups, quotes and completed orders could be measured.
What I do
Tracking architecture
I design the event taxonomy, naming rules and conversion definitions, and write them into one tracking plan, so every team reads the same numbers from the same events.
Web and app tracking
At Topship, GA4 and Google Tag Manager went across three web domains, with sign-ups, quotes and completed orders as conversions. The apps got Firebase and their own GA4 property, and Mixpanel with session recordings showed where users dropped off.
Dashboards that answer a decision
A dashboard earns its place by answering a decision. The Syllabus.ng FluentCRM dashboard shows 80,490 active contacts, 207 campaigns and 57 automations, with one caveat I state: it undercounts sends because inactive contacts are deleted each quarter.
Measurement across channels
At Ecobank I built a customer attribution pipeline from acquisition to activation, which reduced funnel drop-offs by 18%. Reliable tracking is what makes that kind of reporting possible.
How I work
- 1
Agree the questions
List the decisions the data must support, the metrics behind them and one definition for each.
- 2
Design the tracking plan
Write the events, properties, naming rules and conversions into one document with an owner for each event.
- 3
Implement and validate
Set up GA4 and Google Tag Manager, then test every tag and check the numbers against source records before anyone relies on them.
- 4
Build the dashboard
Show channel results against the outcome that counts, with each metric defined on the page and its known gaps stated.
- 5
Keep it working
Re-test key events after every release and update the plan, so a broken tag shows up in days and not at month-end.

Questions
What is tracking architecture?
It is the plan for what you measure and how: the events, their properties, naming rules, conversion definitions and the tools that collect them. A good one means web, app and CRM data use the same definitions, so a sign-up counts once and means the same thing in every report.
What should a tracking plan include?
A list of events and properties, a naming convention, the conversions that matter and their definitions, an owner for each event, and a test for each one. It should also say which tool holds which data. At Topship, the conversions were sign-ups, quotes and completed orders.
How do you track a website and a mobile app together?
Each gets its own set-up with shared definitions. At Topship, GA4 and Google Tag Manager covered three web domains, and the apps got Firebase and their own GA4 property. Sharing definitions for sign-ups and orders is what lets web and app results be read side by side.
Which dashboard should a marketing team build first?
One that answers the decision the team makes most often, usually channel results against an outcome such as sign-ups or revenue. Every number needs a definition and an owner. State what the data leaves out: the Syllabus.ng CRM dashboard undercounts sends because inactive contacts are deleted each quarter.
How is tracking different from attribution?
Tracking records what happened: the events, sources and conversions. Attribution decides which channel gets credit for them. Attribution is only as good as the tracking under it, so I fix the tracking plan first. At Ecobank, the attribution pipeline I built ran from acquisition to activation.
